The Programme

With a programme designed and led by UK-accredited stables and qualified riding instructors, participants experience various aspects of Horse Riding and management to increase riding confidence and horse handling. Each week includes 15 hours of Horse Riding and stable management, including training in various forms of horse handling, dressage, competition show jumping, posture, horse grooming and preparation, tacking up, removing and maintaining tack. Students will not only learn English through horse riding but also in the classroom with Exsportise’s British Council-accredited English course, providing students with 21st-century English language skills.

  • Ages: 9-17 (Requires minimum 1 year horse riding experience)

  • Average Class Size: 1:10 English, 1:6 Horse Riding

  • English Level: Beginner - Advance (A1-C1)

COURSE CONTENT: WHAT WILL MY CHILD LEARN?

  • Essential 21st-century skills, including creative and critical thinking, adaptability, communication, and digital literacy both on and off the riding school.

  • Skills to work and articulate thoughts in a multicultural environment whilst broadening their horizons with insights into pressing global topics and challenges.

  • Empower their Authentic “True Me” by developing and nurturing their self-knowledge, talent and self-confidence.

  • Holistic horse riding approach: with the programme culminating in an end-of-week competition, students will train in various disciplines and learn all aspects of stable management.

  • Advanced tutoring in posture and fine control, training in dressage and show jumping to basic competition level, and stable management and horse care including mucking out, feed preparation, grooming, choice of equipment and tacking.
